Florida Frogs for my Dad (Mildred's Pond) 2016
Presented by the Portland Museum of Modern Art as part of their Houseguest Residency in Pioneer Square.

This public installation was installed in the fountain at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Three-hundred photos of twenty-seven different kinds of frogs from Florida were laminated and put into the fountain. Frogs were anchored by river rocks shipped to Oregon from Florida. This piece is dedicated to my dad Pat Crews because in 2013, he told me his mom was a practicing witch in Florida, and from the on, I imagined her having a pond full of frogs in High Springs.

This project could exist in any fountain outside of Florida. If you want to show it in your fountain, send me an email (c.rozalyn@gmail.com).
